Cadets fly, learn to lead, hike, camp, get in shape and push themselves to new limits. If you’re dreaming about a career in aviation, space or the military, CAP’s cadet program is for you. Close to 10 percent of the cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy got their start in CAP.

To become a cadet, you must be aged 12 to 18. Cadets meet two hours per week and one Saturday each month, on average. Cadets havecadetsrunningsized the opportunity to attend leadership encampments, career academies and international exchanges during the summer.
